Introduction to Fusion 360!
March 23 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm$45.00
Fusion 360 is a powerful (and free for hobbyists) Computer Aided Design (CAD) Application that lets you design objects that can be 3D printed or created on CNC (or non CNC) Machinery.
This is intended as an introductory class. We’ll cover the basics of the interface, as well a few basic solid modelling techniques.
You will need to bring your own computer for this class. The computer you bring must meet the minimum system requirements to run Fusion 360. You can find the system requirement on Autodesk’s Website. And please, please, please bring a mouse. Ideally a mouse with a wheel (or a magic mouse). You may think that you can use a trackpad, and you can, but a mouse is significantly better for view navigation.
Prerequisites for the class will be to have Fusion 360 installed on your computer and have an Autodesk Account created that you can use to run Fusion 360. If you want help installing the software or creating an account please arrive 1 hour before the the scheduled start time to perform these steps with the instructor. If you show up at the start time without having Fusion 360 installed or without an Autodesk account you will not be able to catch up.
